As member of the development team, architect, maintain, and implement technology
enhancements to Blacksmith Applications core product suite (Forge SM& Shield
SM) and internal intranet applications.
Contribute to technical and system architectural planning and the development
of innovative solutions for the business.
Perform web development tasks utilizing Coldfusion MX 7.0.2, SQL Server, and
Flex 2.0.
Deliver development projects of high quality that meet user requirements, based
on specifications provided by a product management team.
Advanced experience required in: Coldfusion, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, SQL
Server, web services, object-oriented analysis & design.
Solid understanding of relational database models, data architecture, web interface,
rich-internet applications, and usability design.
Proven individual contributor and team player.
Ability to estimate and manage development tasks and provide input for overall
project management activities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Experience in full systems development life cycle
- Experience in vb.net, e-commerce, content management and CRM systems is a plus
- Experience with application and/or data integration is a plus
